St Columba CE Primary School believes in Empowering its pupils. It is one of our 5'Es!
St Columba has a school parliament which is elected each academic year. Their main role is to help the headteacher improve the school by letting her know what children think about St Columba.
Being a school councillor is a very important role. The children that are chosen by their classmates are usually elected because they have good listening skills, are respectful and have lots of good ideas. They have to be able to report back to their classes and their teachers about what has happened at the school parliament meetings. Check out the school parliament minutes to stay in the loop!
