Welcome to Tomlinson's home learning page! Here you will find all the resources and information for learning at home during school closure. If you need any additional support or have any questions, please feel free to contact Miss Saunders at

Remember to take your time with your handwriting! You could print the pages or copy the letters/ words out onto your own paper.

Use the activities below to practice this weeks spelling words. You could also write these words into sentences or make a word search to give to someone at home!

In maths, we will continue work on times tables. As well as the activities below please keep practicing learning your times tables. So far in school we have been working on our 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8 and 10 times tables.

Please continue to read daily at home. You could even create a book review of your favourite book at home to share with the rest of Tomlinson class!

In school on Monday we started looking at our new text Iron Man by Ted Hughes. This week we will be looking at the character of Iron Man and will start to describe him before writing our own stories next week!

This half term in RE we will be learning about People of God.

For this week's learning please read the story of Noah and the Flood (linked below), discuss it with someone at home and respond to the questions.

Learning Quest

This half term our learning quest is called Mighty Metals where we will explore the scientific world of forces and magnetism, metals and materials. In class we have started looking at forces and discussed gravity, push and pull and how these make things move.
