Curriculum Intent:

At St Columba we aim for children to develop passion and life-long love of music. St Columba have just started to use the GetSet4Music scheme which covers the national curriculum objectives of performance, composition and appreciation of music for all year groups. The children are introduced to a variety of genres of music from around the world and across generations, enabling them to become confident listeners, as well as performers and composers. The skills that our children are taught in Music are transferrable and are key to their development as learners, both inside and outside of school.
